Smooth heads that are attractive and holds very well in the field. Tall plants should be staked so they don't lodge in wet soil. Medium-large sprouts have excellent sweet flavor.

BRUSSELS SPROUTS FAVE

Gustus

I continue to be amazed at how popular these plants are! They taste the sweetest after they have had a light frost and then they'll keep for a couple of months in the refrigerator for a super-nutritious winter food! Sweet dense heads are medium sized and oval-shaped. Needs rich soil and plenty of moisture.

NEW BRUSSELS SPROUTS

Speedia

This new variety of Brussels sprouts has vigorous and extra sturdy (shorter) 30–36" stalks that are less likely to lodge, but it's still a good idea to stake them. Large sprout heads are extra tasty and the plants are somewhat resistant to aphid damage. Harvest after a frost or two for the sweetest flavor.
