NEW ADVENTUROUS HERB

Hot and Spicy Oregano

Perennial
This new oregano is similar to regular Greek oregano, but it has more heat and pungency. Like Greek oregano, only the fresh leaves are spicy, the dried ones losing the spiciness, but retaining that traditional oregano flavor essential to Mediterranean cooking. It's like getting two herbs in one plant! Pretty pink flowers on an easy to grow plant.

One of the few herbs that will do well in partial shade, patchouli has beautiful, dark green, tooth-edged leaves with an earthy, woody, or spicy scent that is familiar to most of us. Use it fresh or dried for a luxurious bath, in potpourri, or even in tea.
